Thank you for your interest in working with AC Sports! Our tournaments run from May – August. AC Sports Site Directors will be the main point of contact for their assigned fields with parents, coaches, umpires, and tournament directors. They will also be responsible for communicating with coaches, reporting scores, and more.
Position Responsibilities:
Operations: Organize and direct equipment and merchandise to corresponding field locations; aid in the set-up and tear-down of events.
Management: Oversee tournament operations at an assigned complex to serve as the AC Site Supervisor (managing scores, umpires, team needs, awards presentations, etc.)
Media & Marketing: Help obtain marketing materials such as videos and photos during events.
What You’ll Do (But Also Not Limited to These Tasks)
- Monitor games and retrieve scorecards from umpires
- Confirm umpires have the necessary amount of baseballs / softballs
- Input scores to PlayBook
- Ensure teams are following facility rules (no gum / no seed etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility
- Make sure that teams receive all ordered items (shirts / hats etc.)
- Keep track of schedule advancement for possible earlier game start times
- Observe operations and report any issues to tournament directors
