Stay-to-Play with AC Sports
We’ve got you covered for both the action on the field and the relaxation after the final out.
With AC Sports Stay-to-Play policy, we do the legwork so you don’t have to – saving you time, hassle, and headaches.
We research, negotiate, and contract the lowest group rates at convenient, team-friendly hotels near the tournament venues.
It’s all about making your experience as smooth, affordable, and stress-free as possible – so you can focus on the game, not the logistics.
At AC Sports, we know how important it is to prepare to play, not finding a place to stay.
That’s why our Stay-to-Play policy is designed to simplify your team’s accommodations while supporting the local community.
By booking through our T1 Housing service, your team can lock in the best rooms at the best rates, ensuring you’re ready to perform. Whether you’re traveling far or close to home, we’ve set up the perfect system to make booking easy and stress-free.
Just book your team’s rooms before the deadline, and let us take care of the rest!
Stay-to-Play Policy
Please note: All AC Sports events are team-based Stay-to-Play events.
All teams must book their accommodations through the T1 Housing service to meet the Stay-to-Play requirements. Keep in mind, most hotel booking deadlines are five (5) weeks before the tournament, after which the block expires and the team room blocks may no longer be available.
You cannot use points or promotions (like AAA, government, or military discounts) to make reservations, but you can still earn points.
Please note that hotels cannot be contacted directly for reservations or room blocks.
Stay-to-Play Requirements for Teams
To participate in our events, teams must meet the Stay-to-Play requirements.
- Each team must book at least 8 guest reservations (not room nights) for the event through the T1 Housing booking site before the team block booking deadline. Any team that books less than the required rooms - will be assessed with a prorated OPT OUT fee per missing room.
- Teams located 75 miles or closer to a playing location are considered “local” teams and are exempt from the Stay-to-Play requirements.
- Teams located 76 miles or further away from the event are considered “travel” teams and must follow the Stay-to-Play guidelines.
- If a team wishes to opt out of the Stay-to-Play requirements, they can send an email to [email protected] and request the opt out fee for that event.
Please Note:
For all AC Sports and Cap Classic® events:
Teams that have not completed their Stay-to-Play requirements through T1 Housing by the given deadline – (usually 8 weeks prior) – for the event will AUTOMATICALLY be billed for the event OPT OUT fee and will not be scheduled for the event unless that fee is paid in full prior to the scheduling deadline (4 weeks prior).

Stay-to-Play Requirements for INDIVIDUALS
To participate in our events, individuals must meet the Stay-to-Play requirements.
Per T1 Housing policy, all individuals located more than 76 miles from the event venue are required to stay at one of our partner hotels, which can be found under the “Hotels” tab of the All Star event. As a Stay-to-Play event provider, all individual participants must complete hotel reservations through the official event website—not directly with the hotel.
Please note: Reservations made directly with a hotel partner will not count toward your individual stay-to-play requirement.
To be in compliance, individuals must secure a reservation through our partner hotels by using the booking link provided in the registration confirmation email. If you did not receive this email, the booking link is also available on the tournament website.
Individuals that do not meet the requirement will be subject to an Alternative Housing Opt Out Fee which ranges between $60-$100 depending on the event location and date.
This fee will be added to your registration 30 days prior to the tournament and is due no later than two weeks before the tournament start date. Once paid, the fee permits individuals to stay at accommodations of their choice without further compliance obligations.
- Booking directly with the hotel
